Recent News:
In November 2009, PCF received a 184,500 three-year grant award from The Colorado Trust. This grant will play an integral role in supporting the PCF and local early childhood systems building efforts to improve access to healthcare for children. . We are focusing on the following objectives in Mesa County:

  • Increasing access to preventive oral and medical health care
  • Increasing and/or maintaining the number of primary care physicians, dentists and mental health providers who accept Medicaid and CHP+
  • Increasing the number of children who receive a Medical Home approach

The PCF Health and Safety Committee is working with 10 local integrated health partners to serve the health needs of Mesa County children and families. It is a truly collaborative effort.
